FAQ About Capabilities: Is it possible?

Can I track the number of clicks to links and ads in e-mail newsletters?
Yes, you can. Change the links in the e-mail to DynAds tracking links. The method works regardless of the e-mail content type: plain text or html.
Can I rotate and track banner ads in HTML e-mail newsletters?
Yes, you can. DynAds offers an IMG tag banner rotation feature in which the ad information is stored in a IP lookup table on the ad server. Because this method does not require any JavaScript or cookie, it works with any e-mail client software that can display HTML e-mails.
I operate a directory type categoric website and I want to display banners based on the category and context. Is it possible?
Yes, it is. In DynAds, the ads are placed into categories. Just create a different ad group for each category of your website. Then pull the ads from the related ad group in your pages.
Can I serve ads to other sites from one installation on my site?
I own several small websites. I want to manage multiple campaigns with different sized ads on my domains from the installation on one domain. Is it possible?
Yes, you can. There are two technical restrictions, however. SSI and cookie ad load methods do not work on the remote domains. All other methods are OK. DynAds can handle unlimited rotations on unlimited domains with no restriction on ad sizes. However, note that, only one installation is allowed for a single license.
I want to use this program to rotate several ad zones on one page. Can each zone on a page rotate a different set of ads?
Sure. There is no restriction on the number of rotations on a page. And every rotation can have its own set of ads.
I need a content rotator. I would like to add all of my gallery pages to the database and have, say, 10 galleries active and available at any one time. Then the 10 galleries would change to the different galleries after a set number of days. Any way to do this with your software?
Yes you can do this easily. DynAds can rotate any content whether it is a simple banner ad or a complete page. In DynAds, you can set a particular ad or category be active for a specific time interval. Set the active duration of each ad containing the page contents to a different date-time and then group them for rotation. Then, only the content of the active ad will be displayed for a given rotation. Please read the article about timed and scheduled content rotation for more information.
Is there a way I can show all of the ads in a rotation but in random order?
Is it possible to change the order of a listing, such as the list of my partner sites, every time the page is loaded to provide equal number of exposures on each spot?
I am looking for rotating banners where I could have 20-30 banners on one page that are selected from a large set of banners randomly or sequentially each time the page is loaded.
Yes, you can do these and many more. DynAds can select and return more than one ads from a rotation list. You can specify the number of ads to select and the selection method. Additionally, it can apply a list operation, such as randomization, reversing or random shifting, to the selected list before the delivery.
I want my ads to rotate from one page to the next daily (for example, ad1 on page1 today, ad1 on page2 tomorrow, etc.). I want my ads to rotate through the entire site
Yes you can do it via a very small java script that accesses the ads from DynAds database. Please read the article about timed ad rotation for more information.
If I rotate the content on my site pages via your software, will it be search engine friendly?
If you use server side rotation techniques (SSI, PHP, ASP, Perl, ...) to include the content from DynAds, then yes it will be. Search engine spiders will see and index the rotated content on your pages.
I want to offer banner ad advertising on a pay per click basis on my local portal site. Is it possible?
Yes, it is. In DynAds you can assign a specified number of impressions or clicks to an ad and/or category. After all the impressions or clicks are used, the ad is automatically disabled and removed from rotation until admin assigns new credits. Your advertisers can check their their statistics online by entering the web based control panel.
I write online articles. Can I distribute my articles via DynAds?.
Yes you can. Please read the article on content syndication.
I want to know if your program could manage pop-up or pop-under windows?
DynAds can rotate ads in pop-up or pop-under windows regardless of the content.
I am advertising on other sites and pay per click search engines for my services and products. Can I track those ads with your software?
Yes, you can track the clicks. Change the URL of your ad to DynAds tracking URL. When someone clicks your ad, DynAds will record it and re-direct the visitor to the original destination page. Read the article tracking pay per click ads for more information.
Can the script be used for banner exchange campaigns
No. There is no built in support for banner exchanges.
Can I rotate plain html or java script ad codes from some ad networks?
Yes, you can. With DynAds you can rotate any type of code! There is no restriction. Just put the ad code in the DynAds database, and it will appear on your page as if you typed the ad content into the page itself.
I am affiliate of several programs from different affiliate networks. Can I rotate those affiliate ads without harm to my affiliate commissions?
Yes, you can. Just copy and paste the original affiliate ad contents into DynAds database. DynAds will paste the selected affiliate ad code into the page, as if it was part of the page.
